GORE HILL FIRE DEPARTMENT
As Great Falls has grown, so has its Fire Departments. The Gore Hill Fire Department has grown from one engine and a handful of volunteers to seven vehicles and 21 firefighters. Together, the staff maintains equipment, completes fire and health inspections, encourages public relations /fire prevention, and makes fire, technical rescue, hazardous materials (HAZMAT), and medical calls.
Gore Hill is one of the busiest departments (for its district size) in Cascade County and responds to more than 150 calls for fire and EMS services each year.
Additionally, Gore Hill enjoys a unique relationship with Montana State University’s Fire Service Training School by providing logistics support for training academies throughout the year.
